Music education has been a high priority amongst the bands of the Wimmera area of Victoria for over 40 years. Since the first WBG Music School in 1971, countless students have taken advantage of the opportunity to develop their playing ability and musicianship.
The WBG Music School is held annually during the first week of the mid-year school holidays. All ages and abilities are catered for with an increasing number of adult students attending the school in recent years. Initially, the school was exclusively for brass and percussion but now we also include woodwind and string instrumentalists.
